500th Post for X'mas

24th December 2007, Monday

Can't believe 4 solid days just went by so fast...aren't even feeling that it was substantial enough, merely wasted away...

So had a great day out with the missus shopping, dining and catching a movie and basically spent a whole chunk of money by our standards...
Followed by a Friday which I was trying to do all of my favorite things but were hampered by a dual blow when my website administrator informed me that my disk space is officially ran out while the wireless router at home expired on its life span as well, giving us sporadic access on that day but ultimately we need to get that replaced...

On Saturday the highly anticipated gaming session with the lads went great as we have thought except it didn't have that full length of time we had desired with TW having to have dinner with his family while CS having to pick up his lass...we hope to continue part 2 in the coming week but it seems bleak at this juncture...

Then finally on Sunday went for badminton with the missus and had a great time sweating out despite only being there for a mere hour instead of two...
Our lunch at the usual joint was basically chatting about the problematic helpers La Tendo had employed over the course of time while a persistent elderly kept touting for a penny or two...
Got the rest of the grocery for the X'mas dinner for the evening and with the collection of the cake, my mood swung for the better as I cooped in the room for the rest of the afternoon doing up a festive picture for my webpage...

Surely the food for the mood of X'mas

White wine from TW's happening father...really the best what Italian vineyard can offer

Mom's style Bolognaise

A Strawberry shortcake for me over your usual log cake

What remains of a sugary Santa

& finally for a yuletide mood in my living space, got this from a shopping mall:

To complete the festive tourney, it's the clash of the titans this evening at EK's place, the mood seemed much subdued this year with only a few of us buzzing for it but it will change in the matter of hours...

Here to wish everyone... a Merry X'mas!!

Japanese word of the day: 五百~go-hya-ku~(Five Hundreds) Here to the next 500 posts...
